Membership Application Process for 2009

The following details the new membership application process effective from 6th April 2009.

1. Prospective members should complete a copy of Membership Application Form available from the bar staff or located near the notice boards in the Club. This requires an appropriate member to sign as Sponsor and another as Seconder. Completed forms should be forwarded to the Secretary, together with two passport size photographs and £10 application fee.
   No application will be considered without photo(s) and application fee.
2. Applicants details will then be posted on the club notice board for a minimum period of 7 days. Any objection to any applicant should be made to the Secretary no later than 24 hours before the next scheduled Committee meeting.
3. Applicants and their sponsors will then be invited to attend an intake meeting which will normally take place at 7pm, ahead of the scheduled monthly Committee meeting, at which the applications will be considered.
4. At the Intake meeting the successful applicants will be required to pay their subs (pro-rata) for that year, together with deposit for an entry card (£3). They may also wish to purchase an Affiliation Card for that year (£2). These requirements will be processed by the Membership Secretary, and membership cards will be issued at that time.
