The Best Meal In Town

We are delighted to inform that the HDC Food Hygiene Inspectorate has awarded the Club its highest excellence rating of FIVE STARS in their "Scores on the Doors" programme! This is the direct result of excellent work by Angie, our Stewardess and catering franchisee, in developing first class staff training, rigorous processes and working practices, and providing great catering service management. Well done Angie and the catering staff.

Also, well done to the Buildings Sub-committee who do a great job taking care of structural compliance, maintenance and repairs, doing much of this work themselves to keep the cost down.

Club gets a face lift

If you go down to the Club today your in for a big surprise!

As part of the Club buildings renovation programme the redecoration of the front of the Club has now been completed, and to a very high standard according to the working party (see work in progress photo) The Likely Lads are :- Frank Beale, Mick Currell, Malcolm Freeman, Bill Anson , Vic Brown and myself. All is now ready for the hanging baskets to go up.

Also we have commissioned new carpeting to be fitted in the entrance area, bar area, lounge and Reading Room by early August. This, together with planned interior redecoration will drastically improve the level of comfort provided for members.

Our charity for this year is: ST NEOTS ACORN CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
There aim is to provide support and relief to people suffering from cancer as well as their families and carers.

Club Get's A Library!!!!

The Ladies Group have obtained approval from the Committee to install a small swap / lending library in the Reading Room. For 50p charge members can now swap or borrow books.

Payment is on a donation basis into the Charity Bottle on the bar.
ALL MONIES WILL GO TO THE NOMINATED CLUBS CHARITIES.

So, if you have books surplus to your requirement which you believe others would want to read, drop them off in the Reading Room.
